Refunds & Cancellation
Last updated: June 12, 2026
dolv sells subscriptions through Polar (polar.sh), which acts as the merchant of record — Polar processes your payment, issues your receipt, and handles any required tax. This page explains your refund and cancellation rights. For payment-related questions you can also contact Polar directly.

1. Current plans & pricing
The paid plan available today is Dolv Starter:
- $79 / month — billed monthly, cancel anytime.
- $790 / year — billed annually (equivalent to 2 months free compared to the monthly rate), cancel anytime.
A 14-day free trial is included with first purchase. You will not be charged until the trial ends.
2. Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual) at the then-current plan price, until you cancel. You will receive a receipt from Polar each time a renewal charge is processed. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel before the end of your current billing period — see How to cancel.
3. Refund policy
First purchase — 14-day refund window. If you are not satisfied, email hello@dolv.work within 14 days of your first charge and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked.
Renewals. Renewal charges are not partially refunded except where required by applicable law. If a renewal charge was made in error or you believe you are entitled to a refund under law (for example, EU/UK consumer-protection rules), contact us and we will review your request.
Refunds are credited back to the original payment method via Polar. Processing time depends on your bank but is typically 5–10 business days.
4. How to cancel
You can cancel at any time using either method:
- In-app: open the dolv app at app.dolv.work, go to Settings → Billing, and follow the cancellation steps.
- By email: send a cancellation request to hello@dolv.work from the email address on your account. We will process it within one business day.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to dolv until then; no partial-period refund is issued for the remaining days unless required by law.
5. Polar as merchant of record
Payments for dolv subscriptions are processed by Polar (polar.sh) as merchant of record. Polar is responsible for collecting payment, issuing receipts, and remitting taxes where required. Polar may also issue refunds under its own merchant policies for up to 60 days from the original charge, which may supplement the rights described in this policy. Your card statement may show "Polar" as the charge descriptor.
6. Contact
Questions about a charge, refund request, or cancellation? Email hello@dolv.work. For billing-system questions you can also contact Polar support at polar.sh. See also our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
